Crittaz series 1, Dr. Stupid micro-bust reviews

**Michael Crawford** · September 22nd, 2004, 11:40 AM

Palisades has been toying around with some 'IP' lines this year - Intellectual Property. In plain english, their own ideas for lines, rather than licensed product.

The first just hit retailers, called Crittaz. When first shown off at Toy Fair, they were Urbanimals, but there were some issues, and Crittaz it is. There's six in the first series, plus a couple of the usual retailer exclusives. I have a review of them up tonight, and you can expect a review of their next IP line, the Freakables, up next week.

The guest review is from our own College Bum, Sean Teeter, and covers the VOTC Luke and Yoda. How appropriate, since the original trilogy hit DVD yesterday! You can check out both reviews at the usual:

Great review as usual. I like the look of the Crittaz. I'll have to get Dizzle and G.

i have zero interest in the crittaz, but i still read your reviews. excellent as always.

have you been hard up for guest reviews lately? i have just noticed that there haven't been many with the last few updates. i haven't been getting a lot of figures lately being a poor college student, but i get some here and there. i also got a nice new canon digital camera. let me know if you'd like to me kick in...

Hey, anytime S-Mart! Yep, there have been far fewer in the last two weeks or so, mostly due to the schedules of my regulars. I know there are two or three in the works right now, but my coffers are currently empty. That's quite a bit different than back in March and April where guest reviews had to wait weeks because there were too many!

the town i'm in now for college is about half the size of where i'm from. they do however have a wal mart and a k-mart(neither of which have much to offer). i make it back home now and then, though since it's only a half hour away. i'll try to remember to bust out my camera next time i get a figure and get a packaged shot and i'll send you an e-mail. i'd be happy to do another guest review...
